THE OPPORTUNITY:
Join us as a Sustainable Solutioneer, where you'll be pivotal in delivering exceptional waste minimisation services to our event partners. You'll collaborate closely with clients from contract handover to post-event reporting, ensuring the seamless execution of waste minimisation plans. As part of our team, you’ll be an advocate for sustainable change. There is no shortage of opportunity for Nonstop right now, and we are looking for someone who can step into this unique role as we grow.
This role also includes administration assistance responsibilities.
The starting date for this role is the beginning of September 2024, open to negotiation for the right candidate.
Duration Fixed Term, 12 Months
This role is set to become permanent for the right candidate, subject to the nature of small business, and will be reviewed in quarter two, 2025. Our ideal candidate is ready to grow with Nonstop!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage a portfolio of client relationships, guiding them through our processes from pre-work through to the onsite work and to post-event reporting
Prepare for events, including briefing sessions, document preparation, and equipment
Develop waste management and minimisation plans for events
Coordinate third-party service providers as needed
Prepare a team to carry out the waste minimisation and management plans on event sites
Conduct post-event debriefs and prepare waste management reports
Producing quarterly reports
Step in to support onsite teams if and where needed
Support the Resource and Logistic Manager in warehouse management tasks
Assist with event consultation preparation, travel logistics, and proposal documentation
Support contract follow-ups, data entry, and client correspondence
Monitor email communications and assist with scheduling and filing tasks

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience in client management or customer service, preferably in an events or hospitality setting
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for building rapport with clients and team members
The ability to make confident decisions under pressure
The ability to take on challenges and feedback with a growth mindset
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience with a CRM, ideally monday.com
Experience in using the Google suite
A degree or certification in or related to environmental science, sustainability, business administration, management or similar
Experience in or exposure to a startup environment
