Day in the Bay is back in 2025 and better than ever! Come along on Sunday 9th of February to kick off the beginning of the Island Bay Festival with the parade, bands, food and the blessing of the boats.

This free whānau-friendly festival celebrates our unique Pacific communities. From art and language to performance and food – the Pasifika Festival is all about acknowledging the richness of our Pacific cultures.

We are glad to partner with mana whenua Ngāti Toa once again to deliver a fun-filled Waitangi Day event in Porirua, one of the largest Waitangi Day events to take place in New Zealand on our national day.

Nau mai, haere mai! Te Rā o Waitangi is a free, whānau-friendly event, to commemorate the signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (The Treaty of Waitangi) and Aotearoa New Zealand’s national day. It's about coming together to celebrate Aotearoa New Zealand and acknowledging our treaty obligations and partnerships.

Te Rā o te Raukura is an iwi-run event by Te Āti Awa, which takes place annually in Lower Hutt

Our final home matches of the Dream11 Super Smash season sees The Blaze take on the Northern Brave Women, while the Firebirds face the Northern Brave Men

Raise a toast to Martinborough on Sunday 19th January 2025. Make your way down the picturesque and walkable Festival Road from 11am and explore eight iconic Martinborough wineries at your leisure. Indulge in the exceptional wines, delicious food and live music offerings at six festival locations. Make the most of the long summer afternoon and dine and dance into the evening until 7pm.

Settle in for an afternoon of gin at The Lighthouse Gin Garden Party, back again with a new Wellington Anniversary Weekend date in 2025! Martinborough’s own craft gin, Lighthouse is starting the Toast Martinborough party early with an afternoon of music, local fine fare, Lighthouse gin & tonics and cocktails from 12pm-5pm on Saturday 18th January 2025.

Our second home outing of the 2024/25 season sees the Blaze face the Otago Sparks, while the Firebirds take on the Otago Volts.

The Thorndon Fair is a huge street fair that highlights the charms of historic Thorndon.

Over 20,000 people and 250 stallholders gather on the first Sunday of December every year.

Masterton’s Christmas parade will take place on Saturday 2 December, along Queen Street.

The event will involve ten live acts, over 50 stalls of community groups and artisans, and a wide variety of food and drink.

No ordinary school gala, Pāuatahanui Lamb & Calf Day is a fun filled day for the whole family, at our rural school on the edge of the beautiful Pāuatahanui Inlet.

Come along for the farm animals, browse the local stalls, ride a pony, drive a digger, and stay for the delicious food, live music, raffles, auctions, games and more!
